Sydney Travel Guide has made sure you’re all set with the best Sydney Mardi Gras events and parties, plus a game plan for the big parade, but you’re also going to need to know where to eat when you’re strutting around town in your most fabulous Mardi Gras costumes.
Bottomless brunch, anyone? Mardi Gras is always the best time for it. So we’ve rounded up all the best food and drink specials that’ll be popping off around town over the next few weeks for the duration of Sydney Mardi Gras, which begins on Friday, February 14 and ends on Sunday, March 2.
Where to eat and drink for Sydney Mardi Gras

1. Stamp your Margarita Passport
ESCA Group and Orendain Tequila have had a little love affair as of late. And the power couple is flirting through Mardi Gras with one of February’s most playful drink offerings. The Margarita Passport is your chance to sip and soiree at the same time, with all of the group’s Sydney venues— AALIA, Nour, Lilymu, Ito, Joji and Henrietta—offering seven unique margaritas inspired by love, pride and the irrepressible energy that blankets the city each year in February.
There’s a bit of a game here. Go around and pick up your passport at any of the above venues and collect a stamp for each margarita you try. Five stamps will get you a $100 voucher to spend at any of Esca’s venues. But you might as well go another round, right? If you’ve got the stamina, pick up a sixth stamp and you’ll get a $250 voucher with free entry to the Mardi Gras Party at Joji on Friday, February 28. Now that’s a game we can get across.
