Vivid Sydney’s decision to replace its 2026 drone shows with fireworks has left some visitors frustrated. But before you write off this year’s festival, consider this: the drones were never the best part of Vivid.
Spectators watching the drone show on Monday saw around 90 drones plunge into Darling Harbour. The shows are now cancelled.
