  • Twilight at Taronga 2026 has announced its lineup, with 12 shows spread across February and March.
  • Heavy on Aussie nostalgia with shows from Cloud Control, The Preatures and Songs of the East, the super popular series will also have Xavier Rudd, Bliss N Eso and, for the kids, Emma Memma.
  • Series regular Bjorn Again will close out yet another season with the super-popular ABBA tribute show.

The magical Twilight at Taronga series is back in early 2026, with another lineup of concerts under the stars. Back up for each show is the 180-degree uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbour and the sound of lions, monkeys and elephants settling in for the night.

Once the golden light gives way to dusk, ticket holders shake out picnics in the natural amphitheatre. The series is notorious for selling out quickly, so stake your claim quickly. (The same goes for blanket space at the shows; people get there early and spread out.)

Friday, February 6: The Paper Kites

Indie folk-rock trio The Paper Kites will open Twilight at Taronga 2026 just weeks after their forthcoming new album, If You Go There, I Hope You Find It, is to be released. Given the success of new singles “When The Lavender Blooms” and “Every Town,” we expect this to be one of the first shows to sell out on the beautifully curated lineup.

Saturday, February 7: Emma Memma

The Lil’ Twilight 10am show is always a popular way for families to start the day before exploring more of Taronga Zoo. This year, that’ll be handled by Emma Memma, bringing her ARIA-winning children’s music and dance show to the stage. There’s no better way for families to start the day on the first Saturday of February 2026.

Saturday, February 7: Cloud Control + The Preatures

Two of Australia’s most beloved bands come together for a soaring double-bill. Both Cloud Control and The Preatures pioneered the modern indie rock scene in Sydney, so consider this a celebration of success and legacy as fans are treated to a rare back-to-back performance.

Friday, February 13: Sons of the East

Country, blues and folk fans will love Sons of the East as they take the Twilight by Taronga stage on a Friday night in mid-February. The Sydney trio are known for deep, engaging storytelling and smart, fun songs like new stunner “It’s Alright” and classic hits like “Into the Sun” and “You Might Think”. Expect them to give their all as they showcase new material on one of Sydney’s finest seasonal stages.

Saturday, February 14: Classic Hits Live (Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson, Wendy Matthews + more)

Richard Claptop and Ross Wilson will be joined by Wendy Matthews, Mi-Sex and V.Spy V.Spy as Twilight at Taronga introduces Classic Hits Live. Expect a series of knockout surprises as five artists go heavy on the nostalgia as the sun sets over Sydney Harbour for a romantic Valentine’s Day special.

Saturday, February 21: Xavier Rudd

The legendary Xavier Rudd has been soundtracking sunsets the world over for years now. He’ll be doing much of the same at Taronga Zoo on the Saturday, once again set to stir souls and poke minds with his transcendental jams like “Follow the Sun” and “Let Me Be.”

Thursday, February 26: The Rubens

Fresh from celebrating 10 years of The Rubens at SXSW Sydney, one of Australia’s most dependable rock outfits brings some punch to the Twilight at Taronga 2026 lineup. The five-piece band’s infectious alt-rock anthems should build one hell of an atmosphere as punters sit on the hill looking over Sydney Harbour.

Friday, February 27: Vera Blue

Award-winning singer-songwriter Vera Blue heads out for another Twilight at Taronga as a series favourite, bringing songs like “Lady Powers” and “Regular Touch” to the picturesque stage. With 2025 singles “In The Corner” and “Parallel Desire” giving her some of her finest moments to date, look for Blue to further showcase new material. Could a new album be on the horizon?

Saturday, February 28: Dope Lemon

Sun-drenched psychedelic grooves will echo across the natural amphitheatre at Taronga Zoo courtesy of none other than Dope Lemon. Angus Stone will bring his band along with one highly contemplative night of hypnotic riffs and provocative lyrics, shading the typical night at Taronga with a tangerine dream of funk mixed with soul, blues and folk.

Thursday, March 5: Marlon Williams

One of Aotearoa New Zealand’s finest singer-songwriters is no stranger to Sydney. Marlon Williams has toured here many times of the years, but this is one of those rare occasions where you can catch him pitched against one of the most extraordinary views in the world, peeking out to Sydney Harbour with a score of the Kiwi artist’s finest from his back catalogue.

Friday, March 6: Bliss n Eso

One of the most beloved Australian hip hop acts in history returns to take the Twilight at Taronga stage with a clash of old hits and new jams. 25 years of party rockin’ energy will be released on one very special night, celebrating the raucous blend of witty rhymes and 90s rap that has made Bliss N Eso such a formidable act over the years.

Saturday, March 7: Bjorn Again

Finish off with a spectacular show that pays tribute to ABBA. With dazzling costumes and infectious energy, Bjorn Again will have everyone dancing and singing along to timeless classics. This show is pure, joyful nostalgia and has been a favourite at the Twilight series over the years with one long 70s sing-along.
