Naomi Toy

Naomi’s journalism career spans more than 30 years, covering Sydney from every angle her entire working life. She began on Sydney's Daily Telegraph and went from covering the crimes that shocked the city to the ones that made it hum when she became one of the first editors of Sydney Confidential and turned her attention to entertainment and celebrity stories. She’s worked at the New York Post, Woman's Day and, before joining Sydney Travel Guide, at Who Magazine where she was Associate Editor. There she wrote the weekly Drink Notes column, covering Australia’s bar and venue openings, a role that kept her across the city’s exciting food and drink scene. Having raised two children and a dog in the Harbour City, Naomi knows it inside out. She loves live music and comedy, a late night barhopping and an early morning by the water. She brings newsroom attitude and accuracy to the way she covers the city.
