- Twilight at Taronga has unveiled its 2027 lineup, bringing five weekends of live music to one of Sydney’s most spectacular harbourside settings.

The world’s most beautiful zoo will return next February with its iconic summer concert series, Twilight at Taronga.
The annual set of sunset shows come with sweeping, uninterrupted 180-degree views of Sydney Harbour, plus the unmistakable soundtrack of lions, monkeys and elephants settling in for the night.
Once the golden light gives way to dusk, ticket holders shake out picnics in the natural amphitheatre. The series is notorious for selling out quickly, so stake your claim quickly. (The same goes for blanket space; people get there early and spread out.)
Cameron Kerr, Chief Executive of Taronga Conservation Society Australia, said: “For three decades, Twilight has brought people together through live music in an extraordinary setting, while creating meaningful support for Taronga’s conservation work.”

Friday, February 5: Foy Vance and Bic Runga
Northern Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance will kick off Twilight at Taronga 2027, joined by one of New Zealand’s most acclaimed musical talents, Bic Runga. Known for her distinctive voice and enduring pop hits, Runga will open the show for a special evening of soulful songwriting against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour.
Saturday, February 6: Emma Memma
A favourite with families, Emma Memma returns for the fourth consecutive year to perform a special 10am Lil’ Twilight show. The two-time ARIA Award-winning children’s entertainer will bring her infectious songs, colourful costumes and signature dance moves to Taronga Zoo, making it a fun-filled morning for little music fans.
Saturday, February 6: King Stingray
Yolŋu surf-rock outfit King Stingray will bring their electrifying sound to the Taronga stage, blending raucous rock’n’roll with the ancient Indigenous tradition of manikay, or song. The five-piece band has built a formidable following with its distinctive fusion of contemporary rock and Yolŋu culture, promising a high-energy night overlooking the harbour.
Thursday, February 11: The Dreggs
Indie-folk duo The Dreggs will bring their feel-good sound to Twilight at Taronga, kicking off the second weekend with their signature blend of soaring harmonies, infectious melodies and laid-back coastal vibes. Expect an uplifting evening of singalong anthems as the sun sets over Sydney Harbour.
Friday, February 12: James Morrison Big Band
One of Twilight at Taronga’s long-standing favourites, acclaimed Australian jazz musician James Morrison returns with his Big Band show. Folk favourites The Waifs will return to Twilight at Taronga with their feel-good blend of folk, roots and acoustic storytelling. Known for their rich harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, the Australian trio will deliver an intimate yet uplifting performance, with songs that feel right at home against the harbour-side setting.
Friday, February 26: The Jungle Giants
Australian indie-pop favourites The Jungle Giants will bring their infectious beats and electronic-tinged sound to Taronga Zoo. Prepare for a nostalgia-packed evening as Classic Hits Live brings together five iconic Australian acts from the ’80s and ’90s: Dragon, GANGgajang, Eurogliders, Taxiride featuring Jason Singh, and The Chantoozies. Across three hours of non-stop music, expect a hit-filled trip down memory lane, with some of Australia’s most recognisable songs soundtracking the harbour views.
Saturday, March 6: Pete Murray
Australian singer-songwriter Pete Murray will close out Twilight at Taronga 2027 with a special performance celebrating two of his best-loved albums, Feeler and See the Sun. Performing both records in full, Murray will revisit the songs that soundtracked a generation, wrapping up the series with a nostalgic evening of acoustic rock and singalong favourites.
