Picture this: the sun’s shining, a gentle ocean breeze is drifting through the air, and Darling Harbour’s waterfront is glistening with sleek yachts, each one beckoning for a closer look.

The Sydney International On-Water Boat Show returns to Darling Harbour from November 13 to 16, promising a spectacular celebration of Australia’s iconic marine lifestyle, innovation and adventure.

The return of the show follows the success of the recent Sydney Boat Show at the Sydney Showground in Olympic Park, which saw a total of 23,525 attendees, drawn in by the 130 exhibitors, 400 boats and thousands of accessories, gadgets and technologies.

The new Discover Boating Festival Hub

This year, the Sydney International On-Water Boat Show is evolving into a full-on festival that captures the vibrancy of Spring in Sydney, which guests can find in the Discover Boating Festival Hub.

Evolving from its traditional exhibition format that has defined the show for the past 55 years, this year’s edition will showcase 150 luxury vessels, alongside interactive experiences, roving entertainment and an array of food and wine offerings along the waterfront.

And you can be there FREE.

The organisers are giving away 10 double passes for lucky boaties – see how to enter below.

Boating Industry Association Ltd (BIA) President Adam Smith spoke on the bold new edition of the show, stating, “This show will capture the very best of life in, on and around the water”.

“From luxury to lifestyle, it’s about celebrating everything Australians love about the marine world and our water-based culture.”

“The Sydney International On-Water Boat Show will once again transform Darling Harbour into a vibrant playground of luxury yachts, innovation and adventure, but this time around adding more atmosphere, vibe and energy,” Smith continues.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for marine and lifestyle brands to showcase their products and services in a bespoke environment to a diverse audience eager to embrace the Australian summer ahead.”

The show will feature an expansive onshore showcase, extending across Palm Grove, Tumbalong Boulevard and into Tumbalong Park. Extended opening hours mean that guests can visit from 10am to 7pm on Thursday through to Saturday, as well as 10am to 6pm on Sunday, all to take advantage of Sydney’s stunning evenings.
