  • The Sydney Oasis concert dates are Friday 7th and Saturday 8th November
  • This tour marks the first Oasis live appearances since they split in 2009
  • Here’s your concert how-to guide for a great night at Accor Stadium

The Oasis world tour 2025 is one of the most widely anticipated musical tours of all time. Not just because they are one of the best selling music artists of all time but because this world tour marks their first live appearances since they split in 2009. Their reunion and the tour were announced last year, just two days before the 30th anniversary of their debut album. Legendary status and excitement levels aside, this is everything you need to know for a smooth and successful concert experience for their Sydney leg.

As of 2024, Oasis has sold over 75 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Oasis’s original sound was described as being “so devoid of finesse and complexity that it came out sounding pretty much unstoppable”. More than 15 years after their 2009 split, Oasis announced that they had reformed and would perform again in 2025, stating: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

On July 4 2025, the band performed their first show in 16 years as part of their Oasis Live ’25 Tour in Wales. In August, during the band’s show at Wembley Stadium, a fan died after falling from the upper tier near the end of the concert.

Also in August, the box set Complete Studio Album Collection, was released. Last month guitarist Paul (Bonehead) Arthurs announced he was pulling out of the Asian and Aussie legs of the tour, to undergo treatment for prostate cancer. Guitarist Mike Moore is filling in for Arthurs. The world tour is scheduled to end on 23 November in São Paulo,  Brazil.

Tickets were released in August 2024, with 14 million people battling over 1.4 million tickets for the 17 shows. To satisfy demand, Oasis announced multiple additional concert dates in the UK and Ireland, plus dates in North America, Australia, South America and Asia.

The set list includes Morning Glory, Hello and Live Forever, Wonderwall and Don’t look back in anger are in the encore list. But the Aussie leg of the tour has already been met with drama. During the opening night at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, the band performed their final song, Champagne Supernova, when two flares were launched into the crowded floor section, prompting swift backlash from Liam.

Meanwhile, news reports revealed that the crowd jumping up and down during the band’s two Melbourne shows was picked up by the Seismology Research Centre five kilometres away. Movement of the ground was reported during the concert’s length of two hours, and 7 News Melbourne noted that in that time, “the earth was bouncing around like a low-frequency bass speaker.”
