Don’t want to fork out $30 for a single pilates class? Barangaroo has your back, with the Barangaroo You Wellness Month. They’re offering a free four-week program, packed with fun fitness classes, from full-body boot camps and meditative yoga sessions.
It’s no secret that Sydney has a health and wellness obsession. Just ask the 90,000 people opting to run City2Surf this year, or the 21,000-plus who participated in the Sydney HYROX event a couple of weekends ago. However, entering these events can come with a hefty price tagโ City2Surf tickets are $95, while entry to HYROX can pass the $300 mark.
If you’re looking to get active, find your calm and stay motivated (without breaking the bank), explore this lineup of August fitness sessions. Not only are they office hour friendly, scheduled at lunchtimes or pre-, post-9-5, they’re held by industry professionals who are ready to get you fit for free.

Each session will feature live music, free juice for the first 50 attendees and a 30-minute talk and Q&A with the week’s specialist speakers. Topics will range from menopause to navigating gut health, helping to educate people on complex wellness issues and inviting those who join to pause, listen and reflect.
Where: Pier Pavilion.
When: Wednesdays, 12pm-1pm.
4. The Run Club
Barangaroo You’s run club isn’t like the rest. You won’t be struggling to complete a 5k while lean, mean running machines lap you round the harbour. Barangaroo’s run club is inclusive to all and will be led by an experienced and friendly trainer. Starting with a warm up jog, you’ll head to a training location in Barangaroo and participate in drills that will help you improve your runner technique. You’ll then follow up with some faster, short runs, ranging from 200 metres to 600 metres.
