1. The Sabres of Paradise | Vivid LIVE

A rare and powerful musical experience, The Sabres of Paradise brings a bold, genre-blurring performance to the Sydney Opera House. Fusing electronic, dub, and techno, this cult UK act is a must-see for music lovers. Tickets are still available — but not for long.

3. Dream Logic: Four Films by Antoinetta Angelidi

Step into the surreal world of Greek filmmaker Antoinetta Angelidi. Across four nights, four of the visionary filmmaker’s creations are being shown as part of Vivid’s exploration of dreamscapes and experimental cinema. On Thursday, it’s time for Topos, in which a filmed dream unfolds across two cycles of life and death, before Idées Fixes / Dies Irae is shown on Sunday. The latter is a meditation on the female form, language, and aesthetic theory, where sound and image play in constant inversion.

These events are perfect for cinephiles and anyone craving an avant-garde escape.

4. Hollywood Dreaming | Paramount House Hotel & Paramount House Hotel

Ready to dance? DUNJ, a Sydney-based crew of DJs and producers, is bringing their signature blend of futuristic beats and underground club culture to the Opera House. The Studio doesn’t open often, but for Vivid, it’s hosting a series of 18+ parties. This Friday’s high-energy party will have you moving late into the night.

6. Dreamscapes at Aster

Elevate your Vivid Sydney experience — literally. Take in the light show from above with a dreamy night at the rooftop bar of the InterContinental Sydney. Pick your poison: sweet, spicy or adventurous. You’ll then be served a cocktail and matching canapé according to the path you picked, followed by a shared starter and main with matched wines. The views are next-level and the vibe is just right.
