How to get your last minute tickets to Sydney’s hottest yacht race

SailGP is returning to Sydney this weekend for an action-packed weekend of yacht racing.

The rival national teams will race around Sydney Harbour at record-breaking speeds and you can watch Australia compete against some of the best teams in the world.

You can still get tickets for February 8-9, either by watching from the dockside, from Shark Island, or bring your own boat. Here is a run down of how you can watch one of the best seafaring races in the world.

Dockside

From 4:30 – 7:00pm on Friday February 7, you will be treated to a behind-the-scenes look into the SailGP Tech Site as our flying F50s are craned out of the water, all whilst enjoying DJ beats, vox pop interviews and access to luxe food trucks and a container bar.

Ticket includes:

• Behind-the-scenes access to the SailGP Tech Site on Glebe Island.
• Ultimate Friday-night vibes, courtesy of DJ beats.
• Close up view of our F50s being craned out of the water following training.
• Q&A with Athletes and Team personnel.
• Opportunity to purchase food and drinks from luxe food trucks and container bar.

Waterfront Premium

Shark Island is one of the favourite places to watch SailGP’s supercharged fleet of F50s from the centre of the action.

Tickets include boat transfers, gourmet food, a premium beverage package, plus live race broadcast commentary and entertainment.

Watch the high-speed action on the water from your own boat. Purchase a flag to secure a preferential viewing position inside the public exclusion zone, giving you the best vantage point to watch the action.

Vessels must be under 80 feet to be eligible for BYOB.

Your BYOB flag includes:

• Preferred positioning inside the public exclusion zone in Sydney Harbour.
• Souvenir flag to fly on your boat.
