  • Olivia Dean Sydney 2025: British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean has announced a one-off show in Sydney
  • The Nice to Each Other singer will play a Fleet Steps on Thursday, November 20, 2025
  • Pre-sales start on Monday, July 21 and tickets start from $139

Our day has been made: Olivia Dean is coming back Down Under for a one-night-only, open-air show overlooking Sydney Harbour. It doesn’t get much better. She headlined Laneway Festival back in February and clearly can’t get enough of Australia, as she’s set to return before the year is out.

Announced this morning, Olivia will play at Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Point, on Thursday, November 20.

It’s already been a good year for the singer. Her track It Isn’t Perfect But It Might Be features on the soundtrack for the final Bridget Jones movie, she’s been shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and nominated for three BRIT Awards, and her latest collaboration with Sam Fender has been taking over our feeds following a string of duet stadium performances.

Her second studio album, The Art of Loving, will land on September 26 so there’s plenty of time to memorise the lyrics and work out your favourite tracks before the show.

Is an Olivia Dean Australia tour in the works?

At the moment, this one-off Evening at Fleet Steps is the only scheduled show in Sydney, and Australia as a whole. There’s still heaps of time for more dates and more cities to be added though, as we saw with Kendrick Lamar recently.

Olivia’s one-night-only performance comes the day before Sam Fender’s one-off show at Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter. What an incredible coincidence… We sense Sam Fender fans could be treated to a second ‘surprise’ performance from Olivia.

She’s playing in the US and Canada this month, and announced a string of intimate September shows across the UK a couple of weeks ago, so we’re sure she’ll add more Australia dates. As special as it’ll be, it’s a long way to come for just one night.

How to get tickets

All tickets go on sale next week. There will be four pre-sales before general sale begins on Wednesday, July 23 at 11am (local time).

Fans can pre-order her upcoming album on her Australian store to access pre-sale from 10am local time on Monday, July 21 until general sale starts. Buyers will receive an exclusive pre-sale link by 9am on Monday.

The show promoter, Handsome Tours, will launch a pre-sale from 10am on Tuesday, July 22 and My Ticketek members will gain access at that time too.

Pre-sales will end at 10am on Wednesday, July 23, before general sale begins at 11am.

Given the show’s open-air location, all tickets are General Admission 18+ but are released in three tiers:

  • General admission release one โ€“ $139.00
  • General admission release two โ€“ $149.00
  • General admission release three โ€“ $159.00
  • VIP 18+ โ€“ $219.90

What do VIP tickets include?

If you’d rather bypass the battle for general admission tickets and splash out on VIP, you’ll be granted fast-track entry, access to a viewing platform, free cloakroom and phone charging and access to the bar and private toilets.

The chance to see Olivia Dean perform outside, with Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge behind her is almost too much for us to handle. Mark your calendars, warm up those vocal cords and get your ticket-buying strategy set โ€“ this is one gig you wonโ€™t want to miss.
