The Sydney Royal Easter Show may steal all the shine when April hits the Harbour City, but there are numerous other Easter happenings across town that are just as beloved. A great example the annual two-day Cronulla Easter Market, supersized this year with 150 vendors packed by the beach for the ultimate family day out.

Sydney’s best small businesses, artisans and food vendors have all come onboard for the Cronulla Easter Market, which this year is being held across Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 at Don Lucas Reserve.

The beachside market is just steps from the sand so most locals and visitors pair this up with a swim in one of Sydney’s best beaches. When it comes time to shop, you can fill your tote bag with all types of homewares, handmade crafts, local art, fashion, fresh produce, beauty and independent fashion as this mega market steadily shows of its growth each year.

Food is also a big reason why people make the trek out to The Shire for this event. It’s greatly varied and a fantastic way to sample some of the local vendors quietly turning Cronulla into a foodie mecca. Think vegan food, pastries, coffee, dumplings, burgers, hot wings, skewers, gozleme—all the delicious things that make market day so exciting.

Ambient details are must so you’ve got some live music being planned for both days while the little ones are also well taken care of with Easter-themed craft stations, face painting, roving entertainers and a series of interactive workshops.
