Bad Bunny is coming to Sydney for a surprisingly one-off show, with no other Australian stops on the schedule (at least not yet).
Australian Bad Bunny fans who don’t live in Sydney are fuming right now. The famous Puerto Rican rapper and singer has announced that he will be squeezing a show at Sydney’s ENGIE Stadium into his upcoming Debรญ Tirar Mรกs Fotos World Tour world tour, sandwiching us right between Brazil and Japan in February 2026.
The King of Latin Trap, as he’s often called, has pioneered a move away from the typical English dominance of commercial music. In 2022, he became the very first non-English language American artist to be named Spotify’s Most Streamed Artist of the Year, a record he has held onto since. His reputation for addictive rhythms and stylistic songwriting is unquestionable, and it should see tickets fly right out the door when Live Nation put them up for sale on Friday, May 9 (11am AEST).
So, how do you get Bad Bunny tickets? Read on to find out.
When will Bad Bunny come to Sydney?
Bad Bunny is coming to Sydney for one show on Saturday, February 28, 2026. It’s an odd placing in the schedule, which has fuelled rumours that Live Nation may be adding extra Bad Bunny shows once they get an idea of the demand.
The popular artist will be playing in Sao Paulo, Brazil on February 20 before he flies down to Sydney, after which he will jet off for a show in Tokyo, Japan (which is only set in the schedule as “March 2026”.
The first show after Tokyo will be in Barcelona, which means he’ll be heading from Brazil to Australia to Japan to Spain. It’s a strange route, and there’s definitely plenty of space for him to spend more time in the Southern Hemisphere. We’d say it’s pretty much a given that we’ll be seeing more Bad Bunny Australian shows announced well before February 2026 rolls around.
Bad Bunny’s forthcoming tour will apparently be very special for the artist and his fans. In an interview at the 2025 Met Gala, he went on record to say: “The show is 100% different and totally special. It’s not something that’s going to happen again.”
