Legendary rockers AC/DC are warming up for a Euro summer, with their second European run of their Power Up tour in 12 months starting on Thursday. But there’s good news for Aussies this morning. Kickstarting the week with an announcement, the iconic Sydney rock band have revealed they’ll return to the stage Down Under for the first time in a decade.

They last toured Australia on the domestic leg of the Rock or Bust world tour back in 2015, which saw them perform 11 shows across Australia and New Zealand.

Unveiling plans for their Aussie return later this year, there are significantly fewer dates… at the moment. Keep your eyes peeled for additional dates โ€“ there are too many gaps in the schedule for there not to be extra dates coming.

Tickets are expected to sell out fast, judging by demand in North America and Europe. The Power Up tour began in Europe last year, with 2 million tickets sold across 24 shows before they headed over to North America for 10 sold-out shows. They’re heading back to Europe this week, starting an extra run of 15 shows, before returning to Australia for their home shows later this year.

It may be popular overseas, but nothing can beat the homecoming shows. Here’s everything we know, from dates to ticket prices.

Among this morning’s announcements, AC/DC have also confirmed the touring lineup, with Angus Young on lead guitar, joined by vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney.
