Paski Vineria Poplare, one of the best Italian restaurants and wine bars in Darlinghurst, has launched a new monthly dinner series called ‘Lunedi Regionale,’ dedicated to exploring the diversity of Italy’s regional cuisines.
From Lazio to Sicily, Paski’s kitchen will become a nomadic showcase of the world’s most famous boot once a month until early December.
While chef Enrico Tomelleri is usually on the pots and pans each week, Paski’s kitchen is opening up to Italian chefs from their respective regions, travelling further afield than your usual destinations like Rome and Sicily.
Each edition, locked in for Monday nights, will see a new set menu coursed out with antipasti, pasta, a main and a dessert, designed by guest chefs to showcase their respective regions.
The first dinner in the series has already passed, with chefs from Norcino and Cicerone helping Paski explore Lazio, beyond its capital of Rome. Further on in the calendar, Campania will be the star of the show on August 19 before Tomelleri takes the reigns on September 16, exploring his home of Veneto. Sicily is set for November, while one of Sydney’s most legendary Italian chefs, Stefano Manfredi, will help close things out in December.
Bookings are essential for Lunedi Regionale.
