After moving to Sydney in 2023, I became fascinated with travel journalism and the diverse number of events and activities that Sydney has to offer.

How do I travel to the Qudos Bank Arena?

First of all, aim to arrive early to allow time for any unexpected delays. The area is well-serviced by public transport, with frequent trains and buses arriving from a variety of locations. You can even catch a ferry from some areas.

Train: Trains services run regularly between Central train station and Lidcombe and take around an hour. At Lidcombe, services to Olympic Park Station run every 10 minutes. From there, itโ€™s just a five-minute walk to Qudos Bank Arena.

Bus: A number of services to and from Sydney Olympic Park operate on a daily basis, with the 526 practically taking you to the door. Check timetables and routes here.

Ferry: Make the most of Sydneyโ€™s fantastic ferry services and catch the ferry from Circular Quay to Wentworth Point. The journey lasts just under an hour, so the same as the train. Then hop on the Route 526 bus service from the wharf to the Sydney Olympic Park precinct for patrons attending events at Qudos Bank Arena.

Car: There are more than 10,000 onsite car parks throughout the Olympic Park precinct. The largest is P1 Car Park adjoining Qudos Bank Arena. Pre-booking is strongly advised. All other onsite car parks are within a 10 minute walk of the venue and complimentary shuttle bus services may operate between the arena and all operational car parks.
