- The Sydney International Boat Show is back at Darling Harbour.
- The annual event will be available to attend until November 16.
- This year sees over 150 luxury vessels showcased in the Harbour, as well as a brand-new Discover Boating Festival Hub.
Picture this: the sun’s shining, a gentle ocean breeze is drifting through the air, and Darling Harbour’s waterfront is glistening with sleek yachts, each one beckoning for a closer look.
The Sydney International Boat Show has sailed back into Darling Harbour, running through to Sunday. Guests can attend the event from 10am to 7pm, Thursday through Saturday, and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
From high-end motor yachts and sailing catamarans to family-friendly cruisers and cutting-edge marine accessories, several brands are set to launch new vessels and product lines exclusively in Sydney. A special purpose-built event marina will allow event attendees to wander amongst this lineup of boats across Cockle Bay and scout their favourites.
The return of the show follows the success of the recent Sydney Boat Show at the Sydney Showground in Olympic Park, which saw a total of 23,525 attendees, drawn in by the 130 exhibitors, 400 boats and thousands of accessories, gadgets and technologies.

Not just for boaties?
This year, the Sydney International On-Water Boat Show is evolving into a full-on festival that captures the vibrancy of Spring in Sydney, which guests can find in the Discover Boating Festival Hub.
Evolving from its traditional exhibition format that has defined the show for the past 55 years, this year’s edition will showcase over 150 luxury vessels, alongside interactive experiences, roving entertainment and an array of food and wine offerings along the waterfront.
The show will also feature an expansive onshore showcase, extending across Palm Grove, Tumbalong Boulevard and into Tumbalong Park. Extended opening hours mean that guests can visit from 10am to 7pm on Thursday through to Saturday, as well as 10am to 6pm on Sunday, all to take advantage of Sydney’s stunning evenings.
While the gleaming vessels in Darling Harbour remain the star attraction of the Boat Show, this year’s expanded program aims to draw a broader crowd, from marine and lifestyle enthusiasts to those simply keen to admire the boats, enjoy the entertainment and sample some food.
Boating Industry Association Ltd (BIA) President Adam Smith spoke on the bold new edition of the show, stating, “The Sydney International On-Water Boat Show will once again transform Darling Harbour into a vibrant playground of luxury yachts, innovation and adventure, but this time around adding more atmosphere, vibe and energy.” He continued,
“This is a fantastic opportunity for marine and lifestyle brands to showcase their products and services in a bespoke environment to a diverse audience eager to embrace the Australian summer ahead.”
