Spilt Milk fell victim to industry challenges that have caused a growing number of music festivals to call things off, often just weeks before the big day. Organisers said they “couldn’t get you the Spilt Milk you deserve” last year, but promised to “come back when I can make all your dreams come true.”

That day has finally come.

Spilt Milk 2025 lineup

Whether you watched the Super Bowl live back in February or not, you probably won’t have escaped Kendrick Lamar’s half time spectacle. It broke the internet. The American rapper popped out of a cardboard box during Dr Dre’s Super Bowl performance a few years ago, but this year the stage was all Kendrick’s. Well, apart from appearances from Samuel L Jackson, Serena Williams and SZA, that is.

To close his headline-grabbing year, Kendrick will head Down Under for four headline showsโ€”his first in Oz since his 2022 tour.

Spilt Milk is a touring festival that brings one day of international chart-toppers to cities across Australia. Annoyingly, they seem to avoid Sydney, but nearby Canberra will host the stars on Saturday, December 13.

Joining the Grammy Award-winning feud-finishing rapper is fellow Grammy-winner Doechii, who won best rap album at this year’s ceremony. American songwriter, rapper and Euphoria actor Dominic Fike will also perform alongside pop singer Nessa Barrett, Sombr, Friday singer Rebecca Black and many more.

Will Kendrick announce an Australian tour?

When Post Malone headlined Spilt Milk in 2023, he made the most of his visit Down Under by announcing a solo tour shortly after being named as a festival headliner. Today’s announcement has fuelled speculation that Kendrick Lamar could follow suit.

Spilt Milk will pop up in Perth, Gold Coast, Canberra and Ballarat, 90 minutes west of Melbourne. Surely he won’t come all this way without performing in Australia’s two largest cities?
