The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan returns to Sydney to showcase his solo material (photo supplied).

1. Billy Corgan

Although Billy Corgan is best known for his work as the frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins, the stalwart musician’s solo work is highly regarded for its experimental sound. We’ll say it’s safe to expect from Smashing Pumpkins classics as well, with Corgan’s tour so far featuring hits like “1979” and “Age of Innocence”.
