Since Billie Eilish dropped her third studio album, Hit Me Hard And Soft, in May last year, it’s topped the charts in more than 20 countries including the UK, Canada, Germany and here in Australia. Fans have been eagerly waiting for her tour to come to Australia since it kicked off in North America in September, and the time has finally come for Sydneysiders to see the show.

Having played in Brisbane last week, Eilish started her Sydney run last night and will play three more shows tonight and on Thursday and Friday. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming shows.

What time will Billie Eilish come on stage in Sydney?

Doors at the Qudos Bank Arena open at 5pm with the support act taking to the stage at 7pm. After the crowd are sufficiently warmed up, Billie Eilish is expected to come on stage at around 8.15pm.

Who is the support act for Billie’s Sydney shows?

American rapper and singer-songwriter Ashnikko is the support act for all of Billie Eilish’s Australian tour dates. With blue hair to match Billie’s album and punchy songs including ‘Paint The Town Blue’, from the soundtrack of TV series Arcane, and ‘Deal With It’ featuring Kelis, this feels like the perfect pairing. Ashnikko’s style blends hip-hop with pop and electronic influences that is bound to get the crowd hyped.

How do I travel to the Qudos Bank Arena?

First of all, aim to arrive early to allow time for any unexpected delays. Around 21,000 people are expected to attend each night, and that’s a lot of people travelling in.

Train

Trains services run regularly between Central train station and Lidcombe and take around an hour. At Lidcombe, services to Olympic Park Station run every 10 minutes. From there, it’s just a five-minute walk to Qudos Bank Arena.

Bus

A number of services to and from Sydney Olympic Park operate on a daily basis, with the 526 practically taking you to the door. Check timetables and routes here.

Ferry

Make the most of Sydney’s fantastic ferry services and catch the ferry from Circular Quay to Wentworth Point. The journey lasts just under an hour, so the same as the train. Then hop on the Route 526 bus service from the wharf to the Sydney Olympic Park precinct for patrons attending events at Qudos Bank Arena.

Car

There are more than 10,000 onsite car parks throughout the Olympic Park precinct. The largest is P1 Car Park adjoining Qudos Bank Arena. Pre-booking is strongly advised.

All other onsite car parks are within a 10 minute walk of the venue and complimentary shuttle bus services may operate between the arena and all operational car parks.

What is the setlist for the Billie Eilish shows in Sydney?

Looking at the alleged setlists from Billie Eilish’s recent Australian shows, concertgoers can expect to hear most of Hit Me Hard And Soft, with only ‘BITTERSUITE’ missing from last night’s show – though it is played as a transition. ‘CHIHIRO’, which gradually builds from a delicate tune into a soaring anthem, seems to be Billie’s choice for the opening number before launching into upbeat favourites including ‘LUNCH’.

Measuring up to just 43 minutes, Hit Me Hard And Soft doesn’t quite provide a full show’s-worth of songs and ticket-holders will be pleased to hear that Billie digs into the archives, performing ‘bad guy’, ‘when the party’s over’ and fan-fave ‘ilomilo’. The full setlist for Monday February 24 looked like this:

  • Intro – contains elements of THE GREATEST
  • CHIHIRO
  • LUNCH
  • NDA / Therefore I Am
  • WILDFLOWER
  • when the party’s over (live looped vocal layers intro)
  • THE DINER
  • ilomilo
  • bad guy
  • THE GREATEST
  • Your Power
  • SKINNY
  • TV
  • bury a friend
  • Oxytocin
  • Guess
  • everything i wanted
  • BLUE
  • lovely / BLUE / ocean eyes
  • L’AMOUR DE MA VIE
  • What Was I Made For?
  • Happier Than Ever
  • BIRDS OF A FEATHER

Of course, setlists vary and could change between shows but we’d say that’s a pretty good selection. And besides, Billie can really do no wrong, whatever she performs.
