- Westpac OpenAir Cinema has announced the dining options on offer for their 2026 summer season.
- The cinema will feature menus from Luke Nguyen and Danielle Alvarez.
- There will also be a brand-new seafood-led menu in the Chandon Garden.
Westpac OpenAir Cinema proudly calls itself the “World’s Most Beautiful Cinema”, and with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, the title feels well earned.
Now, they’ve unveiled their 2026 summer dining lineup, featuring an impressive array of menus that might make them the most delicious menu in the world, too. They’ve called in acclaimed Sydney chefs Luke Nguyen and Danielle Alvarex to create mouthwatering menus for guests to enjoy in front of the stunning harbour views.

1. Danielle Alvarez at Summer House Dining
Top Sydney-based chef Danielle Alvarez returns to Summer House Dining, bringing with her a Mediterranean-inspired menu to the most premium dining experience at Westpac OpenAir Cinema. Using local produce, Danielle has curated a seasonal menu, which will be served at Summer House’s raised deck in front of stunning views of the Harbour. The prix-fixe menu costs $140 per person and features the following options:
- Focaccia and radish with smoked roe dip
- Potatoes Rostu with horseradish cream, and Yarra Valley salmon roe
- Tomato, peach, basil pistou & Vanella burrata
- Avocado, radish and herb salad with fermented black bean and chilli dressing
- Snapper Tartare with avocado, finger lime, chilli and crispy pita bread
- Grilled southern calamari, mojo verde & preserved meyer lemon dressing
- Borlotti beans with Romesco and zucchini
- Roasted organic chicken breast with miso corn, fregola, chilli and chives
- Grilled snapper fillet with white wine, tomatoes, olives and capers
- Marinated and grilled bavette steak with café de Paris butter and charred Roman beans
- Vanilla panna cotta with strawberries, elderflower vinegar and palmier
- Salted brown butter coffee and chocolate roulade with mascarpone cream
- Ice cold coconut and makrut lime leaf sago with passionfruit caramel, mango and macadamia praline
For this dining experience, guests must arrive by 6:30pm, for ample time to enjoy the menu before the film begins at approximately 8:30pm.

2. Luke Nguyen at The Point
Acclaimed Australian chef Luke Nguyen, who is the ambassador chef at nearby Botanic House, will bring a feast of bold Vietnamese flavours to The Point at Westpac OpenAir Cinema. Luke’s menu features signature dishes that highlight his distinctive culinary style, alongside casual street-food bites and a selection of shareable starters.
His menu is as follows:

- Caramelised Pork Belly Bao: $23
- Chicken Skewers with Satay Sauce: $22
- Tempura Eggplant, Herbs, Plum Sauce: $19

Seating on The Point is first-come, first-served, so to secure your table and reserve your cinema seat, make sure you arrive early. The event staff will provide you with a seat reservation card, allowing you to reserve your seat for the film, so you can savour the sunset experience to the fullest. The Hendrick’s Happy Hour deal on mixed gin is also on offer until 7pm, making the perfect pairing to your Vietnamese feast.
For the reserved cinema seat plus casual dining at The Point, tickets cost $44.

3. Fresh seafood at The Chandon Garden
The Chandon Garden will welcome a brand new, seafood-led menu: think Sydney rock oysters, king salmon crudo, buckets of fresh prawns and an indulgent cheeseburger. From 6pm onwards, guests can enjoy a variety of seafood at the harbourside haven, as well as a lengthy drinks menu featuring bubbles, spritzes, cocktails, beer, and fine wines.
